Keep the working day

A service business moves between scheduled work, recorded payments, and the costs of doing the job. I built the calendar as the starting point, with transactions and reports available directly from the same navigation.
During the September update, I kept the overview and monthly summary with the calendar instead of splitting them into a separate screen. Transactions gained its own entry action, so recording work did not require a detour back to the calendar.
A constraint worth protecting
A scheduled appointment does not become earned income automatically. Record changes also need to be recoverable. The implementation separates appointments from financial entries and supports editing, Trash, and restore.

In a fictional test account, a payment was moved from September to August. The transaction date changed and the September report excluded that amount.

The interface uses authenticated services for record changes. Stripe checkout and verified webhook events connect subscription billing with application access.
Release note / 23 September 2026
Check the system
where it will run.
Local checks passed, but a production read exposed a missing composite database index for a support query. The index was added and its readiness verified before the updated interface was promoted.
That release also checked that existing financial records retained their original amounts, currencies, dates, and ownership.

What remained outside these checks
Physical-device and screen-reader testing, a complete keyboard/zoom review, and the normal-browser PDF download flow were not fully verified in this release.

I built guided setup and support-request workflows, organized FAQs around user tasks, and developed a 22-page customer guide. The launch work included the public landing page, interactive demo, branded content, and a published product roadmap.
